Productivity Places Program |
|
Under the new Productivity Places Program (PPP), the Australian Government has allocated 701,000 training places over five years to ensure that Australians develop the skills that industry needs. The training places will be delivered in an industry-driven system, ensuring that training is more responsive to the needs of enterprises and individuals. Enterprises may receive a 90% subsidy of the full course fee for eligible trainees.
Government Skills Australia’s role in the implementation process of the Productivity Places Program is to:
• Conduct a skills gap analysis
• Match identified training needs with appropriate solutions
• Provide independent skills and training advice to enterprises
• Work with Registered Training Organisations to ensure quality delivery
• Create and submit applications for Productivity Places
