Workforce Development Advisor (2 Positions)

Adelaide Based

Government Skills Australia (GSA) is one of 11 Industry Skills Council in Australia and represents the training and skills needs of 1.5 million employees and volunteers in the government and community safety industry.

Under guidance from the Workforce Development Manager, the Workforce Development Advisor will be responsible for managing skills and workforce development audits for clients within Australia's government and community safety industry.  Key activities include supporting clients through the audit process by: establishing scope and objectives, tailoring audit content, interpreting data and providing strategic advice through comprehensive reporting.

We are interested in candidates with:

  • strong investigative, research, interview and report writing skills
  • an ability to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative workforce data
  • sound project management skills, specifically planning, scheduling and client management
  • knowledge of vocational educationand training including Training Packages and RTO / Enterprise relationships

Workforce Development Support Officer

Adelaide Based

Government Skills Australia (GSA) is one of 11 Industry Skills Council in Australia and represents the training and skills needs of 1.5 million employees and volunteers in the government and community safety industry.

Under guidance from the Workforce Development Manager, the Workforce Development Support Officer will be responsible for collecting and analysing skills and workforce development audit data.  Other roles will include assisting in the development of industry support resources and from time to time, be responsible for supporting clients through audit processes by: establishing scope and objectives and tailoring audit content.

We are interested in candidates with:

  • advanced MS Excel skills
  • an ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative workforce data
  • good time management skills
  • good interpersonal communication skills
